alrighty.. i have been having a really dry and itchy scalp lately... i find myself being extremely irritated by this and it usually happens late at night. i'm scratching it sooooo much. umm i've also noticed that i'm using a lot more hair than i used to be. my hair is thinning and i'm an 18 year old female. i have been the the dermatologist... and they say i'm fine... but i'm gonna find someone else... i just want to know if having dry/itchy skin and dandruff can lead to temporary hair loss? b/c... i really am losing a ton more than i should for my age!!! my hair is curly so it gets tangly a lot... it just seems like when i try to get out all the knots, my brush is full of hair. any suggestions? or advice?
Somebody.. anybody! help me out please! :)?

Reply:I suggest cutting it LESS TANGLES.
and go to sunsilk.com and click products ont he top and click the pink bottle it's for dry hair wash you're hair
Today,not tommorow.
Yes,no,yes,no
Reply:use dandrif shamppo and a leave in conditioner and if you have curly hair use a pick not a comb or brush they will take you hair out .
Reply:if you straighten it, stop. maybe what's happening is that your hair is drying out midway and splitting off when you brush it. what i'm trying to say is that it might not be hair LOSS it could just be unhealthy hair that's breaking high up by your ears.
do an olive oil mayo egg treatment.
mix one or two eggs with olive oil and mayo (Improvise the amounts) and put it in your hair, paying special attention to lathering your scalp. leave it in for a long time, watch a movie or something, and then shampoo it out with warm water. hot water will leave you with cooked egg in your hair, ewwww.
=D hope i helped.
Reply:I have straight hair, first off.
But I would talk to friends or people you know, even stylists with your hair type.
I've heard that you are not really supposed to brush your hair all that much.
Maybe you can put conditioner in your hair at night to help with the itchiness and put your hair back in a ponytail and headband, or even use a shower cap. That and doing your own intense conditioner therapy (maybe once a week while your in the shower) more often could do the trick.
Also, try not to itch with your fingernails. If you think first and just massage with your fingers/fingertips, it's a lot less damaging on your scalp and more healthy for your hair.
Good luck!
