The second time you have shingles do they look like they do the first time-you have them?

i have skin eruptions that itch, and look semilar to the shingles i had before. i have never had any pain ,just itchy skin around my ears and on my head and neck until lately and my neck and head have excruciating pain now.

They can be the same, smaller or larger than the outbreak before but are usually in the exact same place each time. For excruciating pain, you need to see your doctor, have him prescribe an anti-viral medication and some strong pain medication to get you through this outbreak.
