Should i consult my midwife or doctor?????

over the last few days i have noticed that my hands and feet have become swollen, so much on my hands that a ring is stuck although not uncomfortable. i have also started having itchy skin around my hands and on my belly. i have some red spots on my belly and legs. sometimes i notice loads tiny black dots or fuzzing in front of my eyes.





should i be worried or not?

Go and get checked regardless of how you think you are doing its just not worth risking it, that is what the midwife and doctors are there for, go and put your mind at rest and make an appointment, you have nothing to loose, if you get the all clear fantastic, if its something that needs looking at then you can get treatment.

Reply:Sounds like you have oedema. Might not be a problem, but might be a sign of something else. Best get to your doctor.
Reply:I highly recommend you contact your midwife or doctor. Your symptoms sound like PIH (pregnancy induced hypertension), also known as, pre-eclampsia, which definitely requires your doctor's attention.

I had EXACT symptoms and it was Pre-Enclampsia and VERY dangerous to you if the baby isnt delivered quickly.





If your close to full term they will induce or c-section if not they can give you help.
