Blood tests results?
wait for the actual results. doubt youre dying
Reply:how could we know if u dont show the result
Reply:I know that you are scared. I don't know what could be your problem, but soon you will have the results of your test and the doctor will be able to help you. I know how you feel - everytime I go for my six month check up for a condition I have, I want to "freak out". It is a pretty scarey thing. People always tell you not to be afraid, not to worry, but it is not easy when it is YOUR body, YOUR test results. I try to keep myself busy as possible while I am waiting for my test results. I will have to do this the rest of my life and that is just the way it is. So believe me, I know what you are going through and I will keep you in my prayers.
Reply:Find out which values are high and which ones are low first. I would doubt very seriously that you are dying. You more than likely have hormonal imbalances or electrolyte imbalances. Things that can easily be corrected.
Reply:I have this problem. I do have an underactive thyroid, but even on the medicine my skin was itching. I now take a Zyrtec daily and it helps so much, I can tell right away if I miss a dose because my skin itches like crazy. If you are having thyroid problems you might have other symptoms too, like aching wrists, puffy eyes, being tired, weight gain, and yes, the dry itchy skin, so that might be your problem. If they can't figure out why this is happening to you, then try the Zyrtec.
Reply:I hardly think you are dying. When the nurse told you that some levels were high/low is nothing to worry about. You can make your white blood cell count be high just by coughing. Stress can also cause a high WBC count. Your EOS were probably elevated due to some kind of allergic reaction. Itchy skin can be numerous things, ie allergic reaction, winter dry skin, or at worst, a case of psoriasis or eczema. Chill out--you're NOT dying!
Reply:Only fasting blood sugar requires fasting. He threw the book at you lab wise and I hear no mention of dermatologic findings or consult with dernatologist.
Reply:i would mention to the nurses about drinking coffee with sugar

during the 10-12 fast. it may have effected some of the test results such as"tryglycerides and fasting glucose level. and possibly some of the other tests as well-(depending on when you had the drink.

i am not a physician but i know exactly how you feel-don't worry

im sure its not life threatening- ps i will also be praying for you today! i promise!!
