Du have allergies?

du have allergies?

My allergies were pretty good until a couple days ago and then BAM, it's like my sinuses told me "it's spring!" Itchy eyes, stuffy nose, itchy skin.

I live in San Diego. Has anyone else experience bad allergies within the last week and what do u do to help with it?

Du have allergies?
It's that time of year!! Yeah, it sucks, but that's how it goes.... I'm in the midwest, and the pollen counts this year just until now are almost to what they were over the better part of the entire allergy season last year... SO, for those of us with allergies, it's a little rough. Depending on your body, there are plenty of good allergy meds out there to take. You can take an OTC antihistamine, or get something like Claritin for antihistamine. There are some steroid nasal sprays that work well without drying out your sinuses/eyes, too (Nasonex for example), or there are some newer drugs out that block leukotrienes that aren't as widely prescribed as the aforementioned two types. Take something, get plenty of kleenex, maybe some visine if you have itchy eyes... Good luck! :)
Reply:Yes, i do feel a bit allergic this time of the year, but i don't get as bad as my mum for example. The only thing that allows her to keep her eyes open are tablets, you should take some allergy medicine otherwise it will be pretty though i'd say, according to how serious you allergies are.
Reply:go see your doctor or just buy over the counter allegy medications such as Claritin or Zyrtec.
Reply:Yep. I am allergic to dogs, cats and dust. The pollen irritates me also. I take Claritin every morning and because I have 3 cats, I also get allergy shots.
Reply:yes everything is in full bloom and everywhere it seems people's allergies (even mine) are worse this year. i have been taking claritan which seems to be working but it's extra strength and 24hrs. it probably works for about 12 hrs lol...

not much we can do except keep windows closed inside the house and try not to go out during certain times of the day when the allergens are higher. your local weather network should list what allergens are out and how bad it is everyday.

good luck and remember to bring lots of kleenex with you where ever you go :)
Reply:Natural products are the best, I am expecting a child right now and can not take anything. I was introduced to magnetics and nutritionals that really helped. I wear a magnetic necklace and take a barely grass supplement and an immune supplement. You can find these things at www.newbodybalance.com
Reply:Its the same thing for me, I also in live in CA, my allergies where fine during the first week of spring up till the past 2 weeks ago, It struck me unexpectedly. Maybe its the change in weather. I take 180 mg fexofenadine that my doctor gave to me, along with a nasal spray and prescription visine. It has worked pretty well, but I still sneeze from time to time. And my throat is unbelievably itchy right now...
Reply:Make sure you go in a hot bath or shower for about 3times a week its quite refreshing but if its to hot its bad for your skin

Take care

Good luck
