.....Does anyone know anything about this?

I have had allergies all my life(Asthma and hayfever).

Two yrs ago i saw an Allergy Tester and she said i am allergic to wheat, tomatoes, soya and other things... i started cutting these things out of my Diet immediately and then i suffered with Headaches...(a detox side-effect).

Shortly after started getting itchy skin during excercise and after a bath.....which has come and gone over the past yr....but now it seems to be frequent and violently itchy after a bath or shower.....it is really getting me down.....all the Doc can say that it is Hormones.....

.....Does anyone know anything about this?
good to see your life is so much better after giving up so much. Try using aveeno in your bath - the powder you get in sachets is great. If it doesn't help, ru using products with parabens and sodium laureth sulphate in the bath, if so, try and find products, which don't contain these.
Reply:it is your soap. get Dove unscented and try it.
Reply:Hi im so sorry you have had to deal with so much, have you tried changing your shower gel and see if that helps as I get a rash like bumps if I use certain showergels, the only other thing I can think of its a heat rash of the heat of the shower or bath etc, try having it luke warm and see if you still get it.

I cant see how after every bath it can be hormones and I would hope you doctor could do more for you. I would get a second opinion and see what they say.

But to me it sounds like an allergy highly sented soaps or even a sweat rash. as the skin dehydrate leaving the skin dry which can cause itchy ness.

What are you using to wash with ? as this could be the cause
Reply:First, I think you need a major body detoxification. As for your skin use only Dove or Ivory Soap. Also look at what you are using for laundry detergent.

Reply:To stop the itching try Aloe gelly it is really soothing and should stop it almost immediately I use it myself for psriosis, and as for the allergies I know this sounds daft but Bee pollen is really good, I have a friend who suffers from both hayfever and asthma he starts taking bee pollen tablets about 6 weeks before the season starts and it has stopped it he also drinks aloe vera gel and now uses his inhaler about 75% less than he did before.

It may be worth a try to see if it helps you at all.

Reply:Do you itch when you are warm? From what you say, it seems you are itchy after exercise, baths and showers (all causing body warmth). How about when sitting in front of a fire or standing beside a radiator for a while? Let me know...also what age are you?
Reply:I am afraid most of these non-medical unofficial allergy tests are just plain bunkum! Try listening to your GP.
Reply:Its hypochondria
Reply:Taking into account your other conditions there could be a possibility that you have a form of eczema - maybe visit your GP again and request further examinations for this.

Eczema can come in different forms....its worth a try.
