I was petting her and felt a bump on her shoulder and then one on her ear... I just found another one towards her belly so I went into the light and spread open the fur to see what is goin on. She has all this crust built up in these spots... it almost looks like they are scabs/scars but I can't really tell... she also seems a itchier than usual. What are these scabs/extra skin/bumps???? Please help...

Hi.. if your dog is acting ok, not lethargic, is drinking, eating, peeing and pooping ok, then you should be able to wait until morning. It doesn't sound like something life threatening that would need attention this very moment. If your dog is acting weird in, though, you might want to take a trip to the emergency vet. Good luck!

Reply:sometimes they can get skin infections that cause these weird situations. Also, fungal issues would be a concern. You should probably take her to the vet so they can run some diagostics on her to see exactly what's going on before it gets any worse.
